PARK(ing) Day lands on 11th Street.

Park(ing) Day is an annual open-source global event where citizens, artists, activists and architects(of course) collaborate to temporarily convert metered parking spaces into “PARK(ing)” spaces: temporary public open space. It is a day to bring attention to the importance and need for more urban open space. A conversation starter for critical debate around how our public space is allocated and discussions on what we can do to improve the quality of our urban human habitat.
